Sound Detection for Ava Mobile

When you are Deaf or hard of hearing, it's frustrating to miss disruptive noises in a conversation. Everyone started talking about a dog barking, why? Someone got distracted by a phone ringing, how? That's why we designed Sound Detection.

When you are using Ava on a mobile device, a small alert will appear at the bottom of your screen to let you know if Ava detects sounds around you.

How to use Sound Detection

  1. Start a conversation on Ava

  2. Proceed like normal with Ava captioning your conversation

  3. Watch an alert pop up at the bottom of your screen when Ava detects a sound around you
