How to translate a conversation on mobile

Start a new conversation (tap on 🎙 Start Captions)

Tap the settings ⚙️ icon in the top right-hand corner

Tap on "Spoken Language" to change the language that the speaker is using

Tap on "Translate into" to choose the language you would like to see the captions in

1. Start a new conversation (tap on 🎙 Start Captions)

4. Tap on "Translate into" to choose the language you would like to see the captions in

Now you can have someone speak into Ava in a foreign language and see captions in the language of your choosing!

How to translate a conversation on your computer

1. Open Ava and start a conversation session by clicking on 🎙 Start Captions

If you are on Ava's Desktop app, click the 4 arrows to expand into Full Transcript mode

2. On the left side, click on the three lines ≡ to view the menu.

4. Scroll down through the side menu and set your desired language settings

Currently, the translation is available in 23 languages:

With the translation function, you can translate your live conversations into over 20 languages. Language barriers are no longer a problem.
