Start Subtitles: Pushing this button will start a conversation.

Contacts: This is where you find all of your saved Ava contacts.

Discover: Find a variety of Help articles here.

&AvaName: This is your special Ava Name you can share with friends, family, colleagues, etc. If you click the box on the far right, your unique QR code makes it easy for others to find you!

Subscription Type: This is where you find your subscription type and when it expires.

Settings: Find a variety of settings here such as curse word filter, light/dark mode, account information, etc.

Help Center: This takes you to our Ava Help page with a variety of articles on how to use Ava.

Support: Click here to be connected with a Customer Support Specialist.

Subscription: This tells you information on your current subscription and how you can upgrade your account.

Invite Friends: Click here to send an invite friends to use Ava!

Profile: takes you to your profile.

QR Code: invite a participant to your conversation

Invite: share your conversation to invite a participant

Settings: get to your Ava settings

End: End your conversation

Accuracy: improve your accuracy with premium captions or invite a Scribe (these features are extra and require payment)

Pause / Start: starts and pauses your captions.

Add: invite a participant to your conversation or join someone's conversation

Type: open a keyboard so you can type words or phrases for Ava to speak for you

3 Lines: Click this icon to remove or bring back the left menu bar.

Start Captions: This button will start a captioning session.

Join a Conversation: Click this button to either join someone's conversation or share your unique link for someone to join your conversation!

Caption Phone Call: Click here to caption a phone call coming through your computer (This feature is only available for paid users!).

Your Name: This drop down allows you to go to your settings or log out of your account!

Volume Controls: Adjust the volume of your computer with these buttons. Mute External speech (not coming from a video or video conference) with the far left mic icon.

Microphone Setting: Pick which microphone Ava "listens" through. *We recommend Ava Mic for best accuracy results!*

Change Font Size: Adjust the size of your captions

Curse Word Filter: Don't want to see curse words in your captions? Make sure the toggle is blue!

Dark & Light Mode: Change the color of your caption screen. Dark mode is shown above with white captions. Light Mode is a white background with dark blue font.

Change Languages: Spoken language is the language in which speech is spoken and Ava is "listening" for. Translation into is which language you want Ava to caption in.

Microphone: Make sure this icon is blue to ensure Ava is "listening." If you don't want Ava to "listen" click this button and it will turn grey.

Keyboard: This allows you to type something for Ava to speak for you.

Captioning Mode: This reduces your full-screen view and opens a caption box at the bottom of your screen.

End Conversation: Click the red X to stop Ava's captions.

*Improve Accuracy: Click this button to enable Scribe or Premium Captions (These are paid services).

*Invite Participant: Click this button to invite someone to your conversation or join someone's conversation.
